In the colder winter months and after a long day, it can be difficult to have that ‘get up and go’ motivation. We all have those days where the mere thought of a spin class or a run around the park makes us feel as if we want to crawl back into bed. Luckily you can work up a sweat from the comfort of your own home! All you need is internet access and a little space. We’ve rounded up some of the best indoor YouTube workouts to make it easier for you to pick the one that suits you best. Each channel has a variety of workouts that vary in length and difficulty, and offers workouts that don’t require any equipment.

1. The body coach TV

The body coach TV was founded by personal trainer Joe Wicks and was created to inspire and motivate people to exercise more and to get fit, healthy, strong and lean. Joe shares new workouts on his YouTube channel every week that you can do anywhere including hotel rooms, on holiday, in your living room and in your back garden. His 20 minute HIIT workouts involve short bursts of hard work, followed by periods of rest, and feature workouts such as intense fat burner (video below), low impact leg burner, cardio and core movement, and abs blaster.

2. Shona Vertue

Shona Vertue is originally from Australia but is now based in London. She is a personal trainer, yoga teacher and former gymnast. She created the Vertue Method which is a fusion of yoga, gymnastics, weighted circuit training and meditation, designed to uplift both your soul and your butt. Her workouts feature a morning stretch routine, hip opening yoga, 7 minute abs and 30 minute energising yoga (video below).

3. Fitness blender

Fitness Blender was created by husband and wife duo, Daniel and Kelli. As personal trainers, they wanted fitness to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their income. Their YouTube channel features over 500 full length workout videos, with new workouts uploaded every week. The workouts vary by length, difficulty, training type, muscles used and calories burnt. The channel features workouts such as 10 Minute Butt and Thigh and Fat Burning HIIT cardio.

4. Blogilates

Blogilates was started by fitness instructor Cassey Ho and is the number 1 female fitness channel on YouTube. Cassey is the creator of POP Pilates which is a total body, equipment-free workout that sculpts a solid core and a lean dancer’s body. Cassey’s YouTube channel features fun and energetic bootcamp sculpturing workouts and POP Pilates.

5. POPSUGAR Fitness

On their YouTube channel POPSUGAR Fitness offers fresh fitness tutorials, workouts, and exercises. They offer different length workouts for the whole body including full-body, HIITT, core, cardio, strength, yoga, dance and CrossFit.
